Job description

  • Managing restaurant staff’s work schedules.
  • Conducting regular inspections of the restaurant kitchen to determine whether proper standards of hygiene and sanitation are maintained.
  • Overseeing food preparation, presentation, and storage to ensure compliance with food health and safety regulations.
  • Checking in on dining customers to enquire about food quality and service.
  • Monitoring inventory and ensuring that all food supplies and other restaurant essentials are adequately stocked.
  • Monitoring the restaurant’s cash flow and settling outstanding bills.
  • Reviewing customer surveys to develop and implement ways to improve customer service.
  • Resolving customer complaints in a professional manner.

School Caretaker

We currently have a requirement for an experienced caretaker for an Academy in the Chester-Le-Street area. Monday-Friday hours available for an experienced individual with enhanced DBS checks in place.

Duties:

  • responsible for all on-site security; opening and locking up the school
  • overseeing all cleaning
  • attending to all minor maintenance issues, referring to all larger issues
  • engaging with parents and staff to ensure the school day runs smoothly
  • observing all emergency lighting and fire checks
  • ensuring schoolyard is kept free of debris and safe for use

Head Chef – Harrogate

We are looking for a talented Head Chef for an exciting new addition to the Harrogate Italian dining scene.

The venue will be providing a quality offering from breakfast and brunch through to evening dining in the 100 cover restaurant and 60 cover lounge. With additional banqueting facilities for 180, this role is definitely suited to someone with experience of running a high volume Italian dining operation or from a busy hotel background.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the operation of this busy and varied kitchen
  • Recruit, train, mentor and lead a team of skilled chefs
  • Working closely with the management team front and back of house

  • Knowledge sharing and feeding into group menu development

We are recruiting x2 bar/restaurant supervisors on behalf of an award-winning, boutique hotel group situated in Newcastle and Northumberland.

There is a highly rated on-site bar/restaurant in both venues which offers a wide variety of food and drink to suit all tastes. Working a 50 hour week the rota is split so you have every Monday off, two half days through the week and Sunday evenings off every single week.
