Junior Sous Chef

Adkins & Cheurfi are looking for a Junior Sous Chef

Working alongside a well-regarded team and Head chef the Junior Sous Chef will be offered a strong base salary of £26-£28k per year. The client is based in Ponteland with access to public transport links.

Experience at Chef de Partie level or above, preferably with experience at 1* Rosette level or above would be ideal and with straight shifts and the opportunity to only work two nights per week, this is a fabulous chance to learn, train and get promoted, without the burnout of a normal restaurant fine-dining kitchen.

Main Responsibilities / Key Accountabilities:

• To actively be an integral part of the Kitchen Management team with the Head Chef
• To operate and participate in the efficient smooth running of the Kitchen.
• To prepare, cook and present for service any meals required to the standards set by the Head Chef
• In the absence of the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef be accountable for the smooth running of
the kitchen, including the preparation, cooking and presentation of all foods to the agreed
standards.

premises in a safe and healthy condition and to a high standard.
• To be responsible for your own continuing self-development, undertaking training as appropriate.

Night Porter

Night Porter required – 40-45 hours per week

We are now recruiting for a permanent, full time night porter to work 5 nights out of 7 at our client, a luxury hotel/wedding venue just outside Richmond, North Yorkshire. You would report to the night manager to ensure the needs of hotel guests are met throughout the night. Duties of night porter:

You will be responsible for taking, preparing and delivering room service orders. You will be working with the night manager to solve any problems and deal with any guest queries throughout the night. You will be an integral part of the team, helping the operations run seamlessly in to the wee hours.

Adkins & Cheurfi are looking for energetic individuals to work split shifts in Housekeeping and Bar/Serving Roles at a remote and picturesque hotel in the Scottish Highlands.Hospitality recruitment Scotland

Applicants must be over 18, experience preferred but training will be given. The position is live in and accommodation comprises a double room, en suite bathroom, Wi-fi, 3 meals per day. Rates of pay between £9 and £13 per hour depending on experience. We work 6 days per week 48 hours per week. 1 day off but where possible a day and a half by starting the later shift following a day off.

The rural aspect of our hotel is particularly suited to people who enjoy the outdoors, the hotel is situated on the shores of Little Loch Broom and underneath the mountain range of An Teallach. There are no shops for 14 miles in one direction and 26 in another, shopping is done online! There is a very limited bus service to and from Inverness (55 miles away on the East Coast). This is a stunning location with many opportunities for seeing wildlife from dolphins, whales, deer, feral goats, eagles, ospreys, seals and otters, there’s plenty of challenges for hill walkers and mountain climbers. We allow our staff to use our bar for their time off, staff members are able to invite friends and family to stay at the hotel with special rates or free if they stay in their rooms.

We are now seeking live in chefs to work at a relaxed holiday park located beside Lake Windermere in beautiful Cumbria. Employed PAYE you will earn £11 per hour + Holiday pay and will work a minimum of 40+ hours per week so can expect to earn in excess of £26000 per year.

Relief ChefsDuties may include:
