Clubhouse Chef - Adkins Cheurfi Chef Recruitment

Clubhouse chef required for a high end gold club in Country Durham. We are now recruiting a temporary chef to work the summer season in their clubhouse approximately 45 hours per week. You must be comfortable making fresh food to order, organising your own workload and delivering high standards consistently. You will be working from a reduced menu in a modern, organised kitchen.

This vacancy would suit a CDP or experienced contract catering chef seeking a change of scene. You will be expected to:

organise stock effectively
follow menu specifications to cook burgers, salads and other similar lunch items
liaise with the site manager to ensure everything is in place for visiting parties
maintain high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen
use your initiative to solve problems as they arise

Your skills and attributes:

you will be a confident chef able to manage your own workload and run a small kitchen
you will be a good communicator
you will be smart and presentable
you will be up to date with Food Safety Level 2 and Allergen training
