We are currently seeking a motivated and organised head chef to lead the dedicated catering team at a purpose built care home in Stockton. This beautifully decorated care home is surrounded in relaxing gardens with spacious dining facilities. It can be home to 120 residents and has an excellent reputation for it’s compassionate and highly trained staff. You would be expected to work 5 days out of 7 with working hours being approx 7am-4pm daily.

Care Home Head Chef responsibilities:

-planning delicious menus and providing traditional, home cooked food with additional menu choice

-take into account dietary requirements, personal preferences and need for soft food options etc…

-leading, coaching and guiding a team consisting of one second chef and three catering assistants

-adhering to all Food Safety and H+S requirements, keeping all documentation up to date

-stock control

The right Care Home Head Chef candidate will be:
