  • Consolidation of revenue into departmental and business totals

We are seeking experienced Business and Industrial chefs to work temporary assignments at various clients across Teesside and County Durham. Your role:

  • produce high volume, good quality, tasty meals for a large workforce/residential body
  • take responsibility for meeting deadlines and delegating tasks to kitchen assistants

  • ensuring all health and safety records are maintained

We are seeking a professional, reliable chef to work five or six days a week at a private residence. The chef will be required to plan weekly menus, buy supplies and deliver two nutritious, well balanced and tasty meals per day. The client is unable to to cook for herself though she has no serious dietary requirements. She favours modern British cuisine and Italian food and would like to have her input included in the menu planning process.

This is an ongoing temporary assignment which will run continuously for the next three months.

  • produce lunch and dinner daily with a focus on maximising the nutritional value of each meal

It’s that time of year again, the summer has flown and the kids go back in two weeks time. With this in mind we are now expanding our team of chefs in the Education Sector to work in primary and secondary schools across the North East. We supply schools in Blyth, Hexham, Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham and beyond. Daily duties of a school chef

We are looking for experienced hotel chalet chefs to work the winter season 2019/20 in the French Alps resort Morzine.

Positions Available

Sous Chef to work alongside the head chef in the main hotel kitchen or nearby chalet – Salary €400pw

Junior sous position working in one of the chalets or in the main hotel – Salary €260pw

Shared accommodation and food is provided and included in the salary package

Flights will not be provided 

Role /Requirements:
  • Qualified chef level 2 NVQ or Equivalent.
  • 3 years experience working in a hotel or quality restaurants ideally at rosette standard.
  • A confident and capable chef who can work alone if required providing guests with meals throughout the day from breakfast to evening meal.
  • As sous chef, you will be required to work x6 days per week working full days with splits in between shifts.
  • As Junior sous, you will be required to work x5 days per week
  • This is a family hotel so we are looking for mature and responsible chefs
  • Experience of working seasons is preferred but not essential
