Kitchen Assistant – Kirkley Hall
tempA&C Recruitment are currently hiring an experienced Kitchen Assistant to work in an educational site in Kirkley Hall, Ponteland.
Working hours are 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday on an 8-month contract.
Duties and responsibilities of kitchen assistant:
- Washing all pots and dishes using a mechanised pot wash
- Managing all kitchen waste
- Keeping the kitchen area clean and tidy
- Organising storage areas and putting deliveries away
- Basic food prep
- Other general duties within reason
The perfect candidate will:
- have a DBS certificate
- have previous kitchen experience
- have a working knowledge of COSHH
- be willing to undergo further training as required
