Kitchen Assistant

We are currently recruiting kitchen assistants to work in a major international logistics site in the Gateshead area. We have both daytime or nightshifts available for the right candidate. This is an ongoing full time role covering 5 days over 7. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• washing all dishes and pots
• assisting the chef team as required
• keeping the potwash clean and tidy
• ensure the highest standards of hygiene are maintained across the kitchen
• organising stock
• basic food prep
• removal of waste

Skills and attributes:

• You must be smart and presentable
• You must be reliable and punctual
• COSHH
• Able to follow instruction
• Good communicator
• Driver – desirable
• Physically fit
