We are currently seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support our client’s award-winning kitchen team located at the iconic “Home of Golf” in St Andrews, Scotland. The ideal candidate will bring a background in 2 or 3 AA Rosette kitchens and have a genuine passion for fine dining. Pastry experience is highly desirable for this role.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Sous Chef and Head Chef in daily kitchen operations

Lead and support junior team members during service

Ensure consistently high standards in food preparation and presentation

Contribute to menu development using seasonal, local ingredients

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and food safety in all kitchen areas

Take charge in the absence of more senior chefs
Requirements:

Experience working in a 2 AA Rosette or 3 AA Rosette environment (required)

Strong all-round cooking skills; pastry experience is a plus

Ability to lead a section and supervise junior staff

Positive, professional attitude and strong team ethic

Must be eligible to work in the UK
