£35000 per Annum + bonus full-time North East

Adkins & Cheurfi are working with our client, a Hospitality Group based in Northumberland, who are looking to recruit an Executive Head Chef – Northumberland to join the team. Our client is looking for someone who has enthusiasm, vision and the passion to continue their company mission to deliver outstanding events that are one of a kind. The Group is continuing to expand and will have new openings throughout the next 12 months and beyond.

The candidate 

  • A strong leader who is not afraid to make changes and drive efficiencies and make an impact.
  • You should have experience in multi-site management
  • Hotel Head Chef experience of 4 stars and above and/or fine dining experience to a rosette standard.

Job Description:

As Executive Head Chef – Northumberland, this role is a great opportunity to coach and lead a kitchen team while playing a major part in the growth and development of the business. You will work collaboratively with the other Head of Departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

  • Accountable for the cleanliness and safe systems of work in all kitchens adhering to Sheild and local authority 5 star standards
  • Manage the integration of the kitchen departments promoting a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Accountable for the overall performance of the team including guest experience, workforce planning (including recruitment and rostering) and departmental profit delivery
  • Builds confidence in teams recognising good performance that promotes company ethos.
  • Attract, develop and retain talent
  • Creates pride in the team to deliver a consistent branded experience
  • Regularly review information and feedback to consistently respond to guest feedback
  • Manage food purchasing to ensure targets are achieved and supplier relations are upheld
  • Manage stock counts to ensure there is minimal wastage
  • Manage the food production and be accountable for the quality of all food leaving the kitchens
  • To support the business with new venue acquisitions and their culinary offerings.
  • Develop menus that are as creative as our venues and show culinary excellence
