We are looking for a skilled Breakfast Chef for an exciting new addition to the Newcastle Italian dining scene.
The venue will be providing a quality offering from breakfast and brunch through to evening dining in the 100 cover restaurant and 60 cover lounge. With additional banqueting facilities for 180, this role is suited to someone with experience of running a high volume Italian dining operation or from a busy hotel background.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation of the breakfast and brunch menus whilst working in a busy environment
- Working closely with the front and back of house teams
- Ensuring all dishes are prepared in line with company standards and SOPs
- Adherence to health and safety procedures whilst working
- Awareness of GP control and wastage when preparing your dishes
- Communication up the line to Head Chef and other members of the team
Person Specification:
- Proven background in a breakfast chef role
- High volume experience
- Hotel experience would be preferred
- “Can do” attitude
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Reliable with an excellent work ethic
