Catering Assistant

Adkins & Cheurfi are currently looking to recruit a General Assistant to work in a site in Colbat Business Park, Newcastle. This role is a temp to perm contract, starting ASAP working Monday – Friday 7:30am till 4pm.

Catering Assistant responsibilities will include:

• Assist with preparation of meals, such as basic veg preparation
• Serving food & beverages on the counter to customers
• Using the till
• Greeting customers
• Making teas and coffees
• Correct disposal of rubbish
• Ensuring kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar setting
• Own transport is desirable
• Good customer service skills
• Knowledge of good hygiene and health & safety
