School Caretaker – vacancies available

Due to a massive surge in demand we are now expanding our team of relief caretakers to work temporary contracts at schools across North Tyneside and Northumberland. We have Monday-Friday hours available for experienced individuals with recent enhanced DBS checks in place.

Duties:

responsible for all on site security; opening and locking up the school
overseeing all cleaning
attending to all minor maintenance issues, referring all larger issues
engaging with parents and staff to ensure the school day runs smoothly
observing all emergency lighting and fire checks
ensuring school yard is kept free of debris and safe for use

You will be:

an experienced care taker or facilities manager seeking an immediate start
able to return a clean and clear Enhanced DBS check
able to travel to and from your place of work punctually
a good communicator with great people skills
capable of maintenance work with a work history demonstrating this
