Adkins & Cheurfi Recruitment is looking for a Sales Executive Apprentice who has long-term career goals and would like to learn about the recruitment, commercial, and hospitality industries.

The Sales Executive Apprentice is initially for a 1-year duration with the view to be promoted to a trainee recruitment consultant in year 2.

Knowledge
Organisational knowledge Understand our organisation’s vision, values, and capabilities, the principle goals of its overall strategy, and the specific objectives of its marketing and sales strategies. Know how to analyse our organisation’s sales and marketing strategies and objectives and translate them into plans and actions for your role.
Product, service, and sector knowledge Identify the features and advantages of the product(s) and/or services(s) you sell, understand how these meet customer needs, and examine how they compare to competitor’s solutions. Understand the nature of your sector and the likely forthcoming changes to it. Understand the legal, regulatory, and ethical frameworks relating to your sector and role.
Market knowledge Understand how your market is segmented and how to target specific segments through effective product or service positioning.
Customer knowledge Know how to analyse the macro and micro environment of individual customers. Understand the challenges and purchasing motivations of your customers and the internal and external factors that impact their purchasing decisions. Understand expectations of what constitutes a high-quality customer experience.
Commercial and financial acumen Understand the principles of finance for sales, such as profit and loss, return on investment, and budgeting. Appreciate the impacts of different types of costs on the business and the drivers of profitable performance. Understand the impact of any discount or variation in terms that you may offer.
Digital knowledge Understands how to exploit digital technologies to aid the sales cycle.

 

Job Description:

Payroll administration duties
Obtaining reference checks for all new starters via telephone and email
CV search and filter CVs to match job criteria
Assist with marketing events and promotions
Update social media platforms
Update databases and spreadsheets
Filing, printing, and Scanning documents
Ensure any information added to the system is accurate and up to date.
Communicate with the candidates via email, text, and phone
Greet candidates – take copies of ID and other relevant documents

Training to be provided during Apprenticeship:

Full training on how the recruitment process works
legalities of hiring staff and providing business with temporary workers
Payroll duties
How to use social media for business
Spreadsheets and databases
How to write job advertisements
Customer service

Skills and Personal Qualities:

Computer skills with knowledge of Excel, word, and basic use of spreadsheets
Social media savvy – knowledge of different social media platforms
Must be able to record information accurately and have good attention to detail
Excellent timekeeping and organisation skills
Excellent Listening and communication skills
Must have a confident telephone and be confident when dealing with people
Reliable and have a genuine interest in recruitment as a long-term career
