Catering Manager

Adkins and Cheurfi are currently recruiting an educational catering manager for a secondary/6th-form school. This role will be great for someone who wants to work Monday to Friday and have the school holidays off! If you think this role would be great for you apply now! DBS required

Responsibilities:
– Oversee all aspects of catering operations, including food production, delivery, and service
– Coordinate with clients to plan and execute catering events according to their specifications
– Manage a team of kitchen staff and ensure efficient and high-quality food preparation
– Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
– Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
– Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during events

– Previous experience in a catering or food service management role
– Strong knowledge of food production and kitchen operations
– Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
– Strong leadership and team management abilities
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
– Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry

Note: Experience in an educational setting or working in a large-scale kitchen is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
