The Client:

  • Adkins & Cheurfi are supporting a Classy Golf Resort, that offers upscale rooms with en-suite bathrooms, plus a plethora of sports facilities, find a new Thai Cuisine Chef for the Thai Restaurant

The Opportunity:

  • The Thai Cuisine Chef will manage and run a specialist Thai restaurant on-site of a beautiful golf course. this position is offering a free flat, for the chef to live in, which is situated only 80 yards from the beach and beautiful coastline.

Summary of Thai Chef Position:

  • We are looking to recruit a full-time Thai Cuisine Chef to run our busy Thai Restaurant
  • 40 hours a week, 5 days out of 7
  • Working alongside the Kitchen Porter you will be fully responsible for the management of the kitchen.
  • Working with fresh and authentic products, you will have the opportunity to create menus and gain a reputation for fabulous food
  • High standards of food hygiene in order to run a safe and compliant kitchen

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing customer orders to a consistent standard with attention to H&S
  • Ensure that all food hygiene regulations are achieved
  • Manage the Kitchen Porter and schedule/monitor their work
  • Create weekly specials and develop ideas to keep the menu interesting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience of producing authentic Thai food of a consistently good quality
  • Takes pride in what you do and genuinely cares
  • Good verbal and communication in English
  • A good understanding of food hygiene standard and experience of achieving and maintaining Food Standards Agency’s ratings
  • Our dishes are created from scratch so experience with fresh food is vital
  • Proven understanding of allergens including gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan menus

Other:

  • Proof of right to live and work in the UK is required
  • Working on Friday and Saturday nights is vital as is some bank holidays including Easter and New Year’s Eve
