We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sous Chef to work day shifts at an exciting new venue on the North East Coast

Excellent Beachfront location. Easy commute by public transport or by car from all areas of the North East.

Offering an excellent salary of £27,000, with excellent opportunities to grow and develop your career within the company.

Working hours will be between 6am-6pm 5 days per week this will include some weekends.

The main focus will be producing high-end brunches, lunches and high-end afternoon teas.

As Sous Chef, you will be expected to confidently manage your team and support the Head Chef, as well as run the Kitchen in his absence.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience of working as a Senior Chef De Partie/Junior sous in your previous role.

  • Responsible for guiding and delegating to  junior staff
  • Capable of working to a very high standard
  • Adhering to kitchen health and food procedures at all times
  • Team player with an excellent can do positive attitude
  • Health, Hygiene, Safety and good working practice leader
  • Ability to cook, prep, and follow fresh food recipes using quality local ingredients
  • Hardworking and enthusiastic individual
  • Prepared to work early mornings and weekends
You must have spent a minimum of 2 years in your last role in order to be considered for this role.
