Senior Chef de Partie – Multi-Site Outlet – Newcastle City Centre

Adkins & Cheurfi are currently recruiting for one of the most highly regarded and iconic venues in the entire North East. This job acts as an exciting and rare opportunity to work in a multi-site outlet, working in numerous kitchens as a vital part of a small team managing a huge event space. Based right in the heart of Newcastle City Centre, this position offers a fantastic salary of £24,000-£25,000 and with excellent public transport links, represents an excellent opportunity for any chef looking to get their foot in the door at a huge company and impress from the get-go.

A Senior Chef de Partie will be:

Passionate about cooking
Reliable and trustworthy
Able to follow instructions and work on own initiative
Confident in working on sections in the kitchen
Attentive to detail and take pride in personal presentation
Able to work in a team
Motivated and accountable

– Experience working in a fine dining environment is preferred but not essential

Roles and Responsibilities:

Managing section, preparing and cooking a variety of dishes
Assisting the Senior chefs to help ensure all food is cooked and presented to a high standard for service
Ensuring all health and hygiene procedures are adhered to at all times
Keeping fridges stocked and report any stock shortages to the supervisor/senior chef
Management and development of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters
Working together as a team, using own initiative to help out where/when needed
