School Caretaker

Caretaker Job Description – MUST HAVE ENHANCED DBS

Duties:
– Provide care and support to individuals in need of assistance
– Assist with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
– Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing living spaces
– Escort individuals to appointments or social outings
– Monitor and report any changes in the individual’s condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
– Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals

Experience:
– Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is a plus
– Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
