Relief Chefs Lake District

Adkins & Cheurfi are looking for experienced Relief chefs to work for our hotel and restaurant clients located throughout the Lake District.

Due to various locations throughout the Lake District, you must be able to drive and have your own transport, although many locations will offer accommodation.

As a Relief chef, your responsibilities will include :

Providing temporary chef cover in a professional kitchen
Cooking food from scratch to a high standard
Covering all sections of the kitchen
Adhering to strict health and hygiene guidelines
Food labelling and Stock rotation
Keeping kitchen/section clean at all times

Skills and experience you’ll bring to the Relief Chef role

Due diligence with records, and health & safety procedures
Ability to follow recipe specifications and guidance from different venues
Ability to work well in a committed team environment
Flexibility
At least 2 years of kitchen experience
NVQ or Equivalent in Professional Cookery / Hospitality & Catering
