Relief Chefs wanted – North East of England
We are expanding our team of Relief Chefs in the North East, Newcastle and Northumberland
We are looking for experienced hotel and restaurant chefs to work in various contracts in 3-5 star hotels, village inns and rosette restaurants.
As a relief chef, you must be reliable, trustworthy, adaptable and enjoy meeting new people and taking on new challenges.
- Head Chef = £14-£20phr
- Sous Chef = £13-16phr
- Relief Chef = £10-£13phr
Relief Chefs – Newcastle
Ideally, we want Relief Chefs who have a strong background working in fine dining fresh food restaurants at senior CDP level and above.

Candidate requirements –
- Capable of working to a very high standard in a variety of kitchens
- Due to locations own, transport is essential
- Experienced in functions & events
- Confident in own ability to run a section
- Health, Hygiene, Safety and good working practice leader
- Ability to cook, prepare, train and create fresh food dishes with quality local ingredients
- Hardworking and enthusiastic
- Must be able to get on well with other chefs working in a team
- Must be able to work under pressure in busy kitchens
