Adkins & Cheurfi are currently looking for experienced Kitchen Porters to join our strong team of back of house staff. Working as an agency kitchen porter provides the opportunity for flexibility in the shifts that you work, meaning you will never have to accept a shift you don’t want.
Kitchen Porter work can be very physically demanding so it is essential that the successful candidate has prior experience working in a similar role and is capable of hitting the ground running with little training. Covering the entire North East region, we are looking for staff from all areas, with that also comes the element of travel, and due to some of the more rural locations our clients occupy, it may prove important to have your own means of travel.
The right candidate will be:
- Experienced working with the necessary machinery
- Have previous kitchen porter experience working in restaurants or hotels
- Able to work as an essential part of a team of kitchen staff
- Willing to chip in and follow instruction
- Reliable and punctual
- Presentable and with a keen eye for detail
- Proud of maintaining a high work standard at all times
- Aware of COSHH
- Responsible for the maintaining of cleanliness for all areas of the kitchen
