Adkins & Cheurfi are searching for a Junior Sous chef – Newcastle to work in a picturesque, privately owned boutique hotel based in Newcastle.

The hotel has 9 stunning bedrooms and has a rosette standard Alacarte restaurant and is very popular with exclusive weddings.

The ideal candidate for the Junior Sous Chef – Newcastle role will have the following qualities –

DUTIES:

-To ensure correct methods are used for the preparation of food and to check presentation.
-To make sure the kitchen team is giving an efficient, smooth and quick service while maintaining principles and standards
-To effectively control the food production giving maximum quality and yield.
-Liaison between Restaurant, Lounge and Conference & banqueting personnel
-To assist with the recruitment training and discipline within the department in conjunction with the Head Chef.
-To be aware of all product promotional activities within the hotel and special outside events.
