Freelance Chefs needed – £12-14phr

We are looking for experienced freelance chefs to work for our hotel and restaurant clients located in various locations on the Northumberland Coast from Alnwick upto Berwick.

Due to locations you must be able to drive and have your own transport

As a freelance chef, your responsibilities will include :

  • Providing temporary chef cover in a professional kitchen
  • Cooking food from scratch to a high standard
  • Covering all sections of the kitchen
  • Adhering to strict  health and hygiene guidelines
  • Food labeling and Stock rotation
  • Keeping kitchen/section clean at all times

Skills and experience you’ll bring to the Relief Chef role

  • Due diligence with records, and health & safety procedures
  • Ability to follow recipe specifications and guidance from different venues
  • Ability to work well in a committed team environment
  • Flexibility
  • At least 2 years of kitchen experience
  • NVQ or Equivalent in Professional Cookery / Hospitality & Catering
