Adkins & Cheurfi are recruiting for an Executive Head Chef to oversee a restaurant, retail café, bakery, various kiosks and a large events space providing banqueting within the Northumberland Countryside.
Our client expects a first-class service and sourcing ingredients as locally as possible, with all menus reflecting a combination of firm favourites together with regional signature dishes.
Executive Head Chef Expectations –
- Implement your culinary vision through menu design and offers
- Consistently review local and national trends to ensure we are continuously evolving
- Manage a team of circa 30 Chefs
- Coach, develop and train the team as well as work alongside the team to support
- Manage the catering departments budgets, GP’s, labour etc
- Management the catering across a Bakery, retail cafe, restaurant and events department
- Ability to work under pressure to deadlines whilst delivering numerous events on time and on budget
- Previous experience of running a multi-site venue as a Head Chef or Executive Chef is essential for this role (hotels, contract catering, events venue etc)
Our clients are offering a competitive salary for the Executive Head Chef role of £45,000 – £50,000 per annum and 25 days annual leave
