An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Chef de Partie – Durham, to join one of the North Easts most popular and well-known tourist attractions
The site comprises of a hotel with 42 bedrooms, a Restaurant, banqueting rooms and an onsite brewery and pub, and they are looking for a Chef de Partie – Durham to join the team
They handle weddings, banquets and various events on a weekly basis and require a strong Chef de Partie to assist in all areas, to attract the best talent they are offering hourly pay at £9.50 per hour and a guaranteed minimum of a 48-hour working week, plus overtime

Key responsibilities:
- Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your section
- Helping the Sous chef and Head chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
- Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
The successful candidate will have:
- Great cooking skills
- Experience at Chef de Partie level in a high standard kitchen
- Their own transport to get to work, or live in the local area
- The ability to work to a high standard in a fast-paced environment
- A willingness to learn and work effectively as part of a committed team
- A cool head
- Organisational flair
