With an excellent salary of £22,000 on offer, the client is also focused on a fair work life balance and you will only work a contracted 45 hours per week.

  • Menu Planning and creating daily specials alongside the head chef
  • The responsibility of staff with assistance in the planning of rotas

Working alongside, and reporting into the Head Chef and Sous Chef you will be managing a team of Chef de Parties throughout the hotel and will be responsible for the kitchen, quality of food, service and motivation throughout the brigade.

Head Chef – Sports Centre – Newcastle

Adkins & Cheurfi are recruiting for a Head Chef. Working at a sports centre located just outside of Newcastle Upon Tyne. The sports centre is a private
club set in beautiful surroundings with easy links to the metro and local bus services. Onsite parking is also provided.

Reporting to the General Manager. The Head Chef will be responsible for the entire kitchen including all Menu planning, functions and health and hygiene.

Functions

There are two function rooms. One which can accommodate between 80-100 guests and a second smaller room seating between 30-50. There is a tiered set function menu to choose from. As head chef, you will have input if you feel any improved changes can be applied.

Working Hours

40 hours a week 5 out of 7 days. The ideal candidate will be flexible to work varied straight shifts which may include evenings and weekends.

Ideally, you will have experience of working within a similar environment and be confident to manage functions from start to finish.
